Jay started his career in Pest Control in 1986 as a Termite/Lawn technician, while learning all other aspects. He eventually went into the Tent Fumigation department and ran a crew for several years.  He went on to become an assistant manager and then Branch Manager which he held for 14 years. However having a passion for helping others, Jay was asked to transfer over into the training department and became a Training Director, which he held for 8 years. He is a Certified Operator in the states of Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. He also holds the prestigious accreditation of being an Associate Certified Entomologist since 2009. Jay truly believes in giving back to the industry and was a Region Director for the Florida Pest Management Association for several years. After spending 37 years with a family-owned company that was sold to a larger entity, Jay searched for that family feeling again, and found it within Knox Pest Control in April of 2023. He is married to his beautiful wife Terri, with 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Hobbies include golf, fishing, and watching his wonderful grandchildren grow.
